- The marriage is announced of Miss Ada McCrone, Kitchener, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McCrone, Grand Valley, to Mr. William Amos, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Amos, 369 Frederick St. The ceremony was held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Amos will reside in Kitchener.

AMOS, William A. - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1985, after a brief illness, William Alexander Amos, of 429 Erb St. W., Waterloo, aged 61 years. He was a member of Zion United Church; he owned and operated W. Amos Income Tax Services for the past 12 years and prior to that, had been employed with the Internal Revenue Service for 20 years. He was a member of the Elmira Lawn bowling Association and was on the Canadian Championship lawn bowling team in 1983. He had served with the Canadian army in the Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50. Husband of the former Ada McCrone; father of Bill of Linwood, Donna (Mrs. Rick Farrow) of Windsor and Jo Ann Mallette of Kitchener; brother of Harry, Carl and Donald, all of Kitchener, Marjorie Mrs. Alfred Kavelman) of Waterloo, Six grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 pm this evening until noon on Saturday, when removal will be made to Zion United Church, where the funeral service will be held at 2 pm, with Rev. Gordon Williams officiating. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery.
