      Ida passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in Hanover, Ontario on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the age of 95.

      Beloved wife for 64 years of Lloyd Schwartzentruber who passed away in 2018. Loving mother of Gail Veitch (Elvin Martin). Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of Graham (Lindsay) and their children Bryson and Sloane, Bryan (Holly) and their children Zac and Raya, and Katie (Chris) Armstrong and their son Sam. Will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Jean Schwartzentruber, Helen Shantz, and Marie Shantz.

      Predeceased by her parents Manasseh and Louida Shantz, siblings Howard (Hilda), Wilfred (Selda), Armand (Irene), Nyal (Helen), Etta (Lloyd), Robert (Lena), Mahlon, Ion, Arley (Mabel) Shantz, Esther (Aaron) Enns, and Lloyd's siblings Glen (as a child), Lester (Erma), Ray, Omar (Ada) Schwartzentruber, and Edith (Mel) Erb.

      Ida was a longtime member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church in Kitchener.
