      At the K-W Hospital, on Sunday, Aug. 10, 1980, after a brief illness, the former Caroline Catherine Gehl, of 526 Victoria St. S., Kitchener, aged 100 years. A member of Sacred Heart RC Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, the CWL of Sacred Heart and St. Mary's and an honorary member of Our Lady's Society of St. Mary's Church. Mother of Louis, Earl, Mrs. Thomas (Loretta) Consolo and Mrs. George (Margaret) Ibbotson, all of Kitchener, and Doug of Toronto; sister of Mrs. Rosetta Metz and Mrs. Johanna Graf, both of Kitchener; 27 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren, also survive. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, George in 1959; two daughters; five sons, George Jr., Jerome, Joseph, Alfred, Eugene; seven brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, where the parish prayers will be recited this evening, at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday, at 9: 30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church at 10 a.m., with Father John Iwicki, CR, officiating. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery.
