- ALEXANDER, Elsie Frances (nee Crowe) - Passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, January 21, at her home in Cambridge. Born in Tosorontio Twp. In 1927. Predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Jim Alexander. Lovingly remembered by her daughter, Becky and husband Dave Allen; daughter, Shelley; son, Jay and his wife Karen, all of Cambridge and son, Jamie and his wife Fran of Orangeville. Also dearly beloved grandma to Kim, Wes, Ben, Adam, Sarah and Kelly (deceased) and great-grandma to Jacob, Kalvin, Taylor, and Drake and many nieces and nephews who were so special to her. Elsie was predeceased by her parents, John and Georgina Crowe and her siblings, Erv, Elmer, and Helen. Elsie was a member of St. Andrew's Hespeler Presbyterian Church, served many years a volunteer at St. Luke's Place, was a founding member of the Hespeler Pipe Band Association and a past member of the Clan Donald Society of Canada. Visitation for Mrs. Alexander will be at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 24. The funeral will be held at St. Andrew's Hespeler Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Humane Society of Cambridge or Lupus Ontario.
