  Tavistock - Ezra Kropf, 69, of RR 1, Tavistock, died at his residence late Tuesday afternoon. He was born in Virginia , on May 9, 1899, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kropf, and came to Canada when an infant. He was a member of the Cassel Mennonite Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Lichti; two sons, Lorne of RR 1, Shakespeare, and John at home; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Violet) Moores of Kitchener, Miss Erma, at home, Mrs. Ellis (Mary) Shantz of RR 1, Tavistock, and Mrs. Samuel (Verna) Martin of Ridgetown; his twin sister, Mrs. Rudy S. (Sarah) Roth, of New Hamburg, and 14 grandchildren. The body will be at the Robert Krug Funeral Home in Tavistock until noon Friday when removal will be made to the East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th line, for a memorial service at 2: 30 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. The services will be conducted by Rev. Vernon Zehr. Kitchener-Waterloo Record, July 3, 1968 ______________________ Kropf - Ezra, son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Roth) Kropf, was born in Virginia, May 9, 1899; died at Tavistock, Ont., July 2, 1968; aged 69 y. 1 m. 23 d. On Jan. 9, 1923, he was married to Katie Lichti, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Lorne and John), 4 daughters (Violet-Mrs. Donald Moores, Erma, Mary-Mrs. Ellis Shantz, and Verna-Mrs. Sam Martin), 14 grand- children, and his twin sister (Mrs. Rudy Roth).
