- Krempien, Norman, son of Charles and Judith (Weber) Krempien, was born Sept. 4, 1885; died at the K-W Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., March 31, 1961; aged 75 y. 6 m. 27 d. On June 21, 1910, he was married to Susanna Frey, who survives. In 1912 they moved to Arcadia Valley, Alta., and in 1952 they returned to Waterloo. Surviving also are 2 sons (Howard and Maynard, Arcadia Valley), 2 stepsisters (Mrs. Addison Snider and Mrs. Benjamin Drudge), 2 sisters (Mary-Mrs. Walter Snider and Selma-Mrs. Walter Shantz), and 2 grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death. He was a member of the Erb Street Church, where funeral services were conducted by J. B. Martin on April 3.
