    • EBY, Milton - Passed away, peacefully, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer,surrounded by the family he loved, on Wednesday, December 11, 2002, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Agnes; much loved father of Karen Martin and Linda and herhusband Chuck Kruger of St. Jacobs. He was also a special father-in-law to Darrel Martin of St. Jacobs. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Tonya and Jonathan Martin,Nathan, Daniel and Matthew Kruger. Brother of Lovina and her husband Nelson Weber ofConestogo, Ivan Eby and his wife Irene of Cambridge and Luella Snider of St. Jacobs. He was predeceased by his parents, Menno Eby and Melinda (Gingrich); step-mother,Angeline (Martin) and sisters, Barbara Weber, Almeda Martin and Rebecca Gingerich. Milt'sgreat joys in life were his family, especially his grandchildren, travelling, genealogy and"puttering" in their yard. He was an active member of the First and Stirling Seniors andenjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and the House of Friendship.He was retired from Case Power Equipment where he had worked for 24 years. Milt's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday (today).The funeral service will be held at First Mennonite Church in Kitchener on Saturday, Dec.14, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Knarr and Rev. Mark Diller_Harder officiating. Interment to follow in First Mennonite Cemetery. Donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or the House of Friendship would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be arranged through the funeral home - 745-8445 or www.edwardrgood.com Following the service at the cemetery, friends and and a time to visit with the family.The family express heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Stevens, Dr. Ward andthe palliative care team from Care Partners for their kindness and compassion.
