  Mrs. Elizabeth Leahy PRESTON Mrs. Elizabeth Leahy, wife of the late Michael Leahy of Preston, died in St. Mary's Hospital at Kitchener Saturday. She had been ill for about five months and had been in hospital for over a month. Born in Kilkenny, Ireland, the late Mrs. Leahy lived for a time in Leeds, England, before coming to Preston 25 years ago. She was well known here. Deceased was a member of St. Clement's Church and the Catholic Women's League. There survive one son, Edward, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Albert Johnston, Galt, Mrs. I. McInerney, Galt, Miss Kathleen, Galt, and the Misses Eileen and Mary at home. Three grandchildren also survive. Waterloo Chronicle 9 Feb 1937, p. 4
