- GEISEL, Jean Elizabeth (Kistner) Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Sunday, January 15, 2017, Jean Elizabeth (Kistner) Geisel of Hensall formerly of Grand Bend and Waterloo, age 83. Beloved wife of the late Edward "Ted" Harry Geisel (May 2014). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Fred and Carol Geisel of Elmwood, Donna Geisel of Palmerston, Tom Dietrich of Mount Carmel. Cherished Grandma and Nannie of Ted and Carrie Geisel, Steve Geisel, Heather Dietrich and Richard Francis, Bobby-Jo and Kris Vidic, Larry Jr. and Theresa Geisel, Amber Dietrich and Lee Brintnell, John Dietrich and great-grandma of six. Dear sister-in-law of Doris and Bob Westphal of Waterloo, Tom and Sandy Richber of St. Thomas, Jim and Geraldine Richber of Niagara Falls. She will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents John "Jack" and Georgina (Fidler) Kistner, daughter Kathy (Geisel) Dietrich (August 2013), son Larry Geisel (February 2014). Jean thoroughly enjoyed the many vacations she and Ted took, especially when she fished and caught the larger sailfish. She enjoyed dancing and sharing good times with friends and will be missed by many. At Jean's request cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to T.
