  Abraham Shantz, "was born July 12th, 1833. On October 10th, 1858, he was married to Eliza Stannard who was born December 12th, 1837. She died June 26th, 1878. After decease of first wife he was married to Catharine Harter in May, 1882. Of first marriage there are five children and of second marriage there is one child." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
