    • Mrs. Jacob Schnell of 65 Brubacher St. died Thursday at the Toronto General Hospital following a brief illness. She was 58.

      The former Beatrice Bowman, she was born in Grimsby, Ont., a daughter of Elmer Bowman who survives and the late Mrs. Bowman. She had been a Twin City resident for two years and lived previously in Galt and Hespeler.

      She attended the Presbyterian church and was active in the Iris Rebeccah Lodge, Hespeler.

      She was predeceased by her first husband, John Dougall, in 1955 and is survived by her second husband; two sons, David and Donald Dougall, both of Hespeler; three stepsons, Hugo Schnell of Kitchener, Arthur of Waterloo and Ronald of Stratford; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joanne) Smith of Woodstock and Mrs. Harold (Sheila) Youngblut of Kitchener; a brother, Lloyd Bowman of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Elia) McPhee of Galt, and 10 grandchildren.

      The body will be at the Nelson Funeral Home, Hespeler, after noon Saturday until Sunday when the funeral will be held there at 3 p.m. with Rev. Robert Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Hespeler cemetery.
