Notes - BARTLEMAN, David Frank Dave passed away peacefully with friends and family at Saint Luke's Place, Cambridge on Friday, March 9, 2018 in his 89th year. Devoted husband and partner of Barbara (Miller), loving father to Chris (Christina), Janet Owens (Dennis), Susan Bartleman (Kevin Brown) and Lorna Felske (Mike). Very proud grandfather of Adam, Claire, Haley, Rebecca, Henry and Catherine. Special Pops to Marty Lachance. Predeceased by parents David Knox and Hannah Elizabeth and sister Ruth. Survived by brother Bruce (Fergus), sisters Jean and Mary (Cambridge) and many nieces and nephews living around the world. Born and raised in Galt, Dave was an active sports and community member, entrepreneur and lover of the outdoors. His "dad jokes", ability to fix anything and love of fishing will be remembered and missed. We wish to sincerely thank the staff of Saint Luke's Place for their kindness and care given to Dad during his long battle with Alzheimer's. A Celebration of Dave's Life will follow in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dad's name may be made to the Saint Luke's Place Foundation or Cambridge Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to Corbett Funeral Home, Cambridge.
