- WELLS, Marian Rose (nee Prange) It is with great sadness, the family of Marian Wells announces her sudden passing, surrounded by her children, in Florida, on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Sandy Roy Wells (2005). Cherished mother of the late John, James (Lori) of Collingwood, Karen (Lyle) Cressman of New Hamburg, Barbara of Kitchener, David (Deb) of Heidelburg, Scott (Bonnie) of Cambridge and Sandra (Jeremy) Cook of Plattsville. Proud grandma to Christi (Taylor), Jamie, Derek, Ryan (Diana), Brandon, Amber (Ryan), Nicholas, Shailyn, Micaela, Nathan, Matthew, Eric, Blake, Kara and Raelyn, and great-grandma of Lily, Sofia and Sienna. Dear sister of Nora Prange, and sister-in-law of Donna Prange and Pat Prange. Marian will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law; Irvin (Julie), the late Ruby Fife (Ivan), Uttley (Ruth), Dolores Cutler, Lily Tipple (Clarence), James (Joan), Rita Rhodey (George), Tom (Geneva) and Donald (Diane). She is predeceased by her brothers, Roy and Norman "Bud" Prange. Marian was a homemaker, an avid gardener, a golfer, a tennis player, the keeper of the grass and tender of the raspberries. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Private interment at Memory Gardens. For those who wish, donations in Marian's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
