  FRITZ, Alphonse Peacefully on Friday, July 22, 1983, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Alphonse Fritz, of 45 Erbs Rd. W., St. Agatha. Alphonse Fritz was born in St. Agatha 77 years ago. He was the son of the late Theobald Fritz and the late Josephine Schoenbachler; lifelong member of St. Agatha RC Church; employed at Mutual Life of Canada as a security guard, retiring in 1973. Beloved husband of the former Violet Meyer of St. Agatha; dear father of Douglas of Kitchener, Patricia Fritz of Waterloo and Christine Fritz, at home; beloved brother of Louise (Mrs. William Nowak) of St. Agatha. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Herbie, Casey, Shelly and Don. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Gertrude Meyer in 1944; by one son, Harold in 1979 and by seven brothers and two sisters. Mass of Christian burial was held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Agatha RC Church. Rev. Fred Scinto officiating. Interment followed in St. Agatha RC cemetery.
