    • Mrs. Leah Brenneman

      Mrs. Leah Brenneman, widow of Peter Brenneman, died at Zurich at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dan Gascho. She was in her 75th year. Born in Hay Township, Mrs. Brenneman spent all her life in the Zurich district except for a few years in and around the Wellesley district

      Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dan Gascho and Mrs. Amos Gascho, Hay Township; two sons, Joseph and John, Detroit, Mich.; six daughters [sic, s/b sisters?], Mrs. Dan Jantzi, Mrs. John Gingerich, both of Baden, Mrs. John Brenneman, of Wellesley, Mrs. Dan Brenneman, Milverton, Mrs. Peter Brenneman of New Hamburg and Mrs. John Roth of Imlay City, Mich., and; two brothers, Joseph Oesch, Biggar, Sask., and John Oesch, Milverton.

      Private funeral services were held Wednesday at 1.30 from the home of Mrs. Dan Gascho, followed by public service in Zurich Mennonite Church, where Rev. S.Peachy officiated. Interment was in Goshen Line Cemetery.
