  BASHER, Albert Edward - Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 14, 2006, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Doreen Basher (nee Sutton). Loving father of Edward, Douglas (Judith), Judith Ann Van Houwelingen, Gordon and daughter-in-law Linda Smith (Basher). Caring grandfather of Susan, Kelly, Paula, Robert, Andrew, David and great-grandfather of Ashley, Megan, Jaxson, Taylor, Morgan and Daniel. Survived by his sister Dorothy Self of California. Predeceased by parents, Willian and Isabella Basher, brother, William and grandson, Jeffery. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 1 pm, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, Heart and stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of choice.
