    • Grace Russ Scrapbooks vol.4 wife and two children lived at 118 Wellington Street; son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Girvan of 118 1/2 Wellington Street; served overseas on Canadian Destroyer; was on convoy duty for about 6 months; born in March 1914 in Preston; attended St. Clement's School in Preston and St. Mary's in Galt as well as Galt Collegiate; worked as a stationary engineer at Stauffer-Dobbies; two uncles served in WWI and one was killed at the Somme; religion - Roman Catholic [Possible Obituary - James Joseph Girvan?] D.O.D.: May 4, 1990 -after lengthy illness; resident of Ottawa, former resident of Cambridge; husband of Esther Kieswetter; father of Sherryl (Mrs. Neil Walsh), James Michael (husband of Pollo Tuokko) and the late Mary Esther; grandfather of Kelly Walsh, Kathy (Mrs. Brian MacCormick), Karen (Mrs. Gary Geoffrey) and Captain Bud Walsh (husband of Lynn) and great-grandfather of Taylor, Kelly Geoffrey and Emily Walsh; predeceased by sister Marion Gravelle
