  WALTER, Aloysius R. (Allie)-Peacefully, on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 1991, at K-W Hospital, Allie Walter, in his 81st year, of 6 Bluejay Rd., Elmira. Allie was born in Peel township February 22, 1911. Son of the late Peter Walter and Annie Jane Farrell. He farmed at RR 2, Wallenstein for 74 years. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Zinger) Walter; dear father of Betty and Jerome Ertel of Elmira, Marlene and Ken Brubacher of Stratford, Joan and William Hahn of Elmira, Dorothy and Paul Karger of Kitimat, B.C., Richard and Fay Walter of RR 2, Wallenstein. Fondly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Marie McCormick of Elmira. Predeceased by one brother, Wilfred; one brother and one sister in infancy; one brother-in-law, William McCormick and one great-granddaughter. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday), where the family will receive their friends tonight, 7-9 and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday morning at 10:10 a.m., then to St. Teresa of Avila RC Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., with Father Fred Bechely, CR, officiating. Followed by interment in St. Teresa's RC cemetery.
