  Obituary for Kathryn Edwards At Home, on September 14, 2014, Kathryn I. Edwards, peacefully in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband Wilbert (Bill) Edwards (2000) and her parents George and Emma Kurtz. Dear mother of Paul and his wife Josie of Tillsonburg, Brenda and her husband Curtis Clairmont of Waterloo, and Douglas and his wife Anastasia of Guelph. Loved Grandma of Emily, Ian, Lindsey, and Samantha. She will be forever missed by her loving grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers John, Roy, and Clare. She will be greatly missed by her brother Vince (Grace) and her sisters Helen (Ted Christie) and Marjorie (late Ken DuVal). Also predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Archie and Betty Edwards, Freddy and Marjorie Edwards, and Iva Metcalfe. She will be greatly missed by many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A special thank you to Dr. William Goldsmith and Cathy and Heather from his staff; and to all the PSW's from CCAC. A special thank you to Marj for all her help. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, for visitation on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Catholic Women's League prayer at 3 p.m. and a vigil at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. Private cremation and burial of ashes at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
