  Dumitru (Egerdeen), Alice - July 3, 1931 - February 2, 2019 Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Freeport Health Centre at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Jon Dumitru for 28 years. Loving mother of Bonnie Walsh (Joseph) and Kathy Egerdeen-Leidy (Paul) and son-in-law Eric Brewer. Survived by her sister Joan Schaeffer. She will be missed by her grandchildren Laurie, Allison, Kimberly, Sarah, Katie and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Norman, daughters Gale Brewer and Joan Baca and granddaughters Rachel Baca and Connie Brewer. "Coffee Time!" and all the special trips they took will be forever missed by her husband Jon. Alice's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A service to celebrate Alice's life will take place in the chapel on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment to take place at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
