  SMITH, Anna Elizabeth (Waldie) - Passed away peacefully at her residence the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener on Friday, January 4, 2008. Anna Smith formerly of Plattsville in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Smith who predeceased her November 24, 1998. Dear step-mother to Kenna and husband Ron Vincent of Kitchener. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Barbara and Paul DeRoo, Mary Jane and Doug Salisko, Nancy and Graham Hallam, Sharon and Brian Horst, Craig and Andrea Waldie, Anna Perrin and Donald and Heather Perrin and their families and by her sisters-in-law Agnes Reist, Isabel Hallman and Hazel Baird. Predeceased by her parents Bertrand Waldie and Jessie Bond, brothers Earl, Elmer, John Waldie and sister Jean Perrin. Anna was a Registered Nurse for 42 years having retired from the Woodstock General Hospital in 1974 after 33 years of service. Anna was a member of the Plattsville United Church. Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St., Plattsville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Plattsville United Church on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Daniel MacLean officiating. Spring interment in Chesterfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Plattsville United Church (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
