- KITCHENER WOMAN FALLS THIRTY FEET
FRACTURES HIP A fractured hip, painful bruises and a severe shaking up were sustained by Miss Clara Kittle, a middle-aged woman, when she fell 30 feet on June 20th, from a roof to a walk below. The injuries were ascertained when she was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital.
Miss Kittle, who rooms near the Sturm Bowling Alley, was on the roof of the latter place to see the fireworks in connection with the annual Kitchener Tattoo. Apparently in leaving, she did not notice that there was a two-foot gap between the Sturm Building and the next one, and she dropped to the walk.
