    • Obituary of Harold Hayne

      Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2011at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital.

      Loving husband of the late Ruthe (nee Stoner) (2008) for more than 67 years.

      Dear father of Bill and his wife Carol of Windsor, Patrick and his wife Patricia and Michael and his wife Karen all of Waterloo.

      Devoted grandpa of Gregory, Stephanie, Brian and Laura; dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Stoner.

      Predeceased by his parents Vera and Victor Hayne and brother Earl.

      Harold was a devoted member of the Unity Centre of Practical Christianity in Kitchener; served the J.M. Schneider Company in sales for 17 years, followed by 22 years as an advertising executive for Zehrs Markets. He also served overseas during the Second World War with the rank of Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces.

      The Hayne family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 17 from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

      The memorial service to celebrate Harold's life and faith will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

      A reception in the Fireside Reception Room to follow.
