- A-1-181 Joseph Moyer The Last Will and Testament of Joseph Moyer, the elder, formerly of the Township of Wellesley, Yeoman, deceased…Will committed to Elizabeth Moyer, widow, Executrix and Joseph Moyer, the younger, Yeoman, of the Township of Wellesley, and Casper Moyer, of the Township of Wilmot, Yeoman.
I, Joseph Moyer of the Township of Wellesley, do make publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testamen… 1st I give and bequeath to my daughter Regina, wife of Joseph Dietrich, the sum of one dollar. 2nd I give and bequeath to my son George Moyer, the sum of one dollar. The[y] having already received their portions, and the residue to be divided as follows : 3rd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth Moyer, one cow, one bed and bedding, all the kitchen furniture, one cooking stove with furniture my wife is to have one third of all my estate, to hold and use the same during her natural life ; and the balance to be equally divided amongst my sons Michael, Joseph and Bernhard, and my two daughters Eve, wife of Lewis Koch and Caroline. My sons Michael Joseph and Bernhard and my two daughters Eve and Caroline are to receive the property left by their mother at her decease. My son Joseph must build for my widow, an attachment to the old house on the south west end 18 feet by 14 feet at my decease. Also that my debts must first be paid, and my funeral expenses before the division…I constitute and appoint my wife Elizabeth Moyer, Executrix, and my son Joseph Moyer and my brother Casper Moyer of this my Last Will and Testament…
