  The Record, Aug 21, 2006 Hoy, Shirley - Passed away peacefully, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, on Sunday, August 20, 2006, at the age of 78. Beloved wife for 57 years to Frank. Loving mother of Alison and her husband Ted Madden of Barrie, and Pat Germann of Kitchener. She will be remembered by her son-in-law, Tony Germann. Cherished Nana of Sarah and her husband Chris Vienneau of Barrie, Luke Germann and Amy Germann, both of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, William and Floretta Sixtus; one brother and two sisters. Shirley was a member of The Club for 62 years and also a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Ave. Kitchener on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. Rev. R. Bugbee officiating. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
