- Passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Chateau Gardens, Elmira at the age of 75.
Beloved wife of Wilfred Zinger of Maryhill for 55 years (Married June 16, 1951).
Dear mother of Dennis Zinger, Elora and friend Brenda, David and Linda Zinger and Julie and Scott Marshall all of Maryhill and the late Debbie Luft (2005).
Dear mother-in-law of Jim Luft.
Dear grandmother of Amy (Charlie) Stephens, Lisa, Deanna, Eric Zinger, Alison and Jeremy Zinger; Jessica, Jacob, Zachary, Alex Luft; Alyssa and Brooke Marshall all of whom have special fond memories.
Dear sister of Bill (Gertrude) Gies, Marie Koroway, Eileen (Bill) Quehl, George (Debbie) Gies, Ken (Terry) Gies, Frank (Marilyn) Gies. Dear sister-in-law of Clare Esbaugh, John Logozny and Al Cowan.
Grace will also be remembered by Ednamae Gies.
Predeceased by sisters Helen Esbaugh, Gertrude Zettel, Florence Logozny and June Cowan and brother-in-laws Gerald Zettel and George Koroway.
Grace was actively involved in the community for many years as an avid quilter, kitchen manager at the Maryhill Knights of Columbus, and a member of the C.W.L.. Grace exhibited an amount of energy admired by all.
Fr. Ron Voisin officiated the funeral mass at St. Boniface in Maryhill.
Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Boniface Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
