  Robert S. Israel of 200 Louisa St. died Monday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 73. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Israel, he was born in Waterloo Township and lived in the Twin City area all of his life. He was employed in the textile division of Uniroyal Ltd. for 20 years until illness forced him to retire in January, 1967. He is survived by his wife, Luella; one brother, Albert of Kitchener, and one sister, Mrs. Manton (Ruby) Howling of New Dundee. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where Rev. Grant MacDonald of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church will conduct the service Thursday at 2 pm. Burial will be in Strasburg cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record Mar 12 1984 pg D19
