  STEELE, JAMES Word has been received in Galt, by his nephew, Robert Jamieson of Lansdowne Rd. , of the death of Mr. Steele on October 15, 1950, in the Cabri Hospital. He had been in poor health for some time. Mr. Steele lived in Galt for a number of years and was employed by the Goldie McCullough Co. He lived on Victoria Ave. He went to western Canada in 1917. He farmed until retiring and taking up residence in Lemsford, SK. Surviving are his wife, Agnes Austin, formerly of Kirkwall and one brother, Frank Steele of 40 Dumfries St. , Galt. Funeral on Wed. , Oct. 25 in Lemsford. Interment Sceptre, SK.
