- A-1-69 John Boehm, Probate of the Will of John Boehm, formerly of the Township of Wilmot, Laborer, deceased, granted on prayer to John Becker,and Caspar Horn, appointed Executors thereof on the twenty sixth day of April 1855…
I, John Boehm, of the Township of Wilmot, Yeoman, being sick and weak of body, but of sound and disposing mind and memory, considering the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof, have now determined to direct what disposition shall be made of my property after my decease and considering the condition of those among whom, as my heirs at law, in my judgement, my Estate should be distributed. As to my worldly Estate, and all the property, Real, personal, or mixed, of which I shall die seized and possessed…I devise, bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following…..I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Barbara Boehm, all my household furniture, such as beds, bedding and bedsteads, cupboards, tables, drawers, and chests, books, stoves and pipes, crockery and cooking utentials[sic] together with all other household and kitchen furniture of whatever name or nature the same may be, also my Wagon and Farming implements, and my live stock, such as horses or mares, horn cattle, sheep and swine, together with all other living stock of whatever kind or nature… I also give to her the use, improvement and income, together with the rents, profits and benefit of my Lot of land and dwelling house with it's appointments thereto belonging, Situate in the Township of Wilmot, containing about forty acres of land, being composed of the south part of lot number nine, on the north side of Bleam's Road, in the said Township of Wilmot. I give, devise and bequeath to John Adam Boehm, eldest son of my son Adam Boehm, unto him of my affection for John Adam Boehm, the said before mentioned lot of land and remises situation as aforesaid, and its appurtenance, and all profits, income and advantage that may result there from and after the decease of my beloved wife Barbara Boehm….And lastly I do nominate and appoint my friends John Bricker, and Caspar Horn to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament…
