  • Notes 
    • Funeral service for Orrle Hollinger, 3 South Ave., Elmira, who died Wednesday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness was held Saturday Oct. 25 at St. James's Lutheran Church. Elmira. at 3 p.m. He was 82.

      Rev. H. Walter Baetz conducted the service. Burial was in the church cemetery. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until noon Saturday when removal was made to the church.

      Mr. Hollinger had been a blacksmith in Elmira for many years before retiring. He had served on Elmira council for several years. He had been a life-long member of St. James's Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Hollinger and two brothers.

      Surviving besides his wife, the former Era Strohm whom he married Nov. 7, 1911, are a daughter Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Cook, Elmira; a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
