    • McKAY, Colin Robert-On Thursday, July 10, 1997, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Colin Robert McKay in his 67th year, formerly of Kitchener and Elmira. Dear father of Donald and his wife Mari-jo of Embro and Gail Hyatt and her husband Jeremie of Queen Charlotte City, BC. He will be remembered by his two grandsons, Luke and Malcolm Hyatt of the Queen Charlottes. Will be sadly missed by Shirley. Lovingly remembered by his sister, Dora Longo of Kitchener and his brother, Murray McKay and his wife Helen of Guelph and his many nieces and nephews. Colin was a member of the Presbyterian Church all his life. He was an elder and active in many church groups as a teacher and participant. He also was a member of the choir in Kitchener and Elmira. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Dorothy McKay and his brother, Donald James McKay who was killed overseas during World War II. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Gale Presbyterian Church, Elmira with Rev. John Kurtz officiating.
