  Mr. & Mrs. John Randall will have the sympathy of the community in their sudden loss of their eldest son, Simon, who died at Baden at the home of his wife's parents on Tuesday. Deceased was with his parents here last week leaving for Baden the latter part of the week. He had been feeling unwell for about two weeks but no serious results were feared until a couple of days ago. Cause of death was the blood turning to water. The remains will be interred in Elmira Union Cemetery on Thursday afternoon. Elmira Advertizer 20 Mar 1902
