    • BROWN, Blair Douglas - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing. after a short bout of cancer, on Thursday. July 1, 2004, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Blair Brown, in his 49th year, of St. Jacobs.

      Dear husband of Diane (Cress) Brown of St. Jacobs. Loving father of Amanda of St. Clements and Jessica at home. Beloved son of Geneva Brown of Elmira and the late Murray Brown. Son-in-law of Vera Cress of St. Jacobs and the late Vern Cress. Brother of Marnie and Bill Doolittle, Brian and Judy Brown. Bruce and Rose Brown, Linda and Harry Liese, Bob and Irene Brown. Beth and Brian Beatty. Brenda and Gary Cooper, Brent and Kathleen Brown. Barb and Alex Lee and Brad and Natalie Brown. Brother-in-law of Carol and Grant Czarny and Bonnie and Pete Horst. Also lovingly remembered by his 25 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces great-nephews.

      Blair was a longtime employee of Zehrs Markets.

      The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Sunday, transfer will he made to St. James Lutheran Church. St. Jacobs for funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Brill officiating followed by interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. St. Jacobs.
