    • MARTIN, Lorene (Mrs. Jonathan B.) - Peacefully, on Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Lorene (Stahlbaum) Martin, in her 88th year, of Spruce Lawn Apartments, St. Jacobs.

      Beloved wife of the late Jonathan B. Martin, former St. Jacobs blacksmith, who predeceased her May 31, 1990. Loving mother of Glenn and Crystal Martin of Waterloo, Janet and David Carr of Brampton, Wayne and Mary Lee Martin of Milverton. Fondly remembered by her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

      Predeceased by her parents, Jacob W. Stahlbaum and Catherine Miller and one brother, Lorne.

      The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Wednesday at 9 a.m., transfer will be made to Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs, for funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Brian Robinson officiating, followed by interment in Calvary United Cemetery, St. Jacobs.
