- THOROUGHNESS IN REPAIRING
Mr. John Shoemaker's Shop.
One of Berlin's best liked citizens is Mr. John Shoemaker, shoe repair shop is at 81 King East. He is a gentleman of quiet and unassuming manner who pays strict attention to business. He has been a resident of Berlin for 25 years and learned his trade with Mr. Henry Bornhold when that gentleman was in business many years ago. Mr. Shoemaker is nothing if not thorough in all he does Though it is but the mending of a shoe, he uses good judgment and the neatness and thoroughness his work never fails to make a pleased customer. He uses only the best of stock and has hosts of business friends who would not tie to any other shoe shop.
