  Joshua Shiedel, "the eldest was married to Eliza Hewitt. They resided in Wilmot Township, about two miles south of Petersburg, Ontario, where he died about the year 1870. She is still living and resides with her son, Elijah. To them were born seven children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
