  • Notes 
    • Norman's sister, Frances True Mackenzie, who was married to Canon Charles Wilkinson Hedley, was killed by a train in Port Arthur, Ontario. Frances had run onto a bridge to save her daughter, Helen Elizabeth Hedley. The train also injured Helen and, after staying in a hospital for five days, Helen died on July 25, 1915
