- W. Andrew Ament, 88, of 40 Heins Ave., died Sunday at his home after a lengthy illness. Born at Hawkesville, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ament, he had resided in Kitchener for the past 44 years. Mr. Ament was a salesman. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and the Canadian Order of Foresters. His marriage to the former Minnie Stever, who survives, took place in North Mornington Township in 1897. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. N. W. (Grace) Lockie of Kitchener and two grandchildren. Two sisters and six brothers predeceased him. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel funeral Home where service will be held Wednesday at 2: 30 pm, Rev. James R. Horne of St. John's Anglican Church will conduct the service. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
