      Death of Mrs. Ralph Alexander - The death occurred at Paris on Saturday of an old and esteemed resident of the district n the person of Mrs. Ralph Alexander, in her seventy-eighth year. Deceased was formerly a Miss Margaret McLean, and was born at Richwood. Fifty-two years ago she was united in marriage to Mr. Alexander, and resided for some time on a farm in that district, but for forty-two years had lived at Drumbo. In October last she visited her daughter in Paris, Mrs. Charles Strickland, where she was taken sick and finally passed away at her home. The late Mrs. Alexander was a faithful member of the Willis Presbyterian Church at Drumbo, was a life member of the Missionary Society, a member of the Ladies' Aid and interested in Sunday School work. Besides the husband, three sons and two daughters survive. The Misses Alexander, Ayr, are sister's-in-law. The funeral took place on Monday to the Ayr Cemetery.
