  Lloyd H. Howell A long-time resident of Ayr, Lloyd Herbert Howell of Northumberland Street, passed away at St. Marys Hospital. Kitchener, on Thursday, December 5th. He was in his 77th year. Mr. Howell and his wife, the former Evelyn Hodgson who passed away earlier this year, farmed just north of the CPR line east of Northumberland Street, for many years. Much of their land today comprises Ayr's northend industrial subdivision. After retiring from farming, Lloyd worked several years driving truck for Ayr Feed and Supply. Dear father of Ross and his wife Dianne of Guelph and Bill and his wife Sandy of Kitchener: grandfather of Bradley. Edward. Laura. Cathy and Rick. Predeceased by sister. Dorothy Gingrich of St. George. Rested at the Win. Kipp Funeral Home. Ayr Chapel, where funeral service was held Sunday. Rev. George Saunders of Knox United Church. Ayr, officiated.
