  Death of Mrs. Morton Robson Following an automobile accident at FreeIton on Sunday, Dec. 3, in which she was critically injured, the death occurred at Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 24th, of Mrs. Morton Robson, Ayr, in her 51st year. The accident took place about 9:45 p.m., while Mrs. Robson was crossing the highway to the residence where she was staying. She was run down by a car and critically injured. Mrs. Robson was born on Cedar Creek Road, her maiden name being Florence Gress, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Gress. She was a member of Knox United Church. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three daughters, Ileen, Isabel and Florence; two brothers and five sisters: Clarence Gress, Kitchener; Milton Gress, Cedar Creek Road; Mrs. Henderson Rutherford and Mrs. William Leithead, east of Ayr, and Janet, Elizabeth and Lena at home. The funeral will take place this (Wed.) afternoon from Wilson's Funeral Home to Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Dec 28 1939
