Notes - Grace Dorothy Bell passed away at her home, Water Street, Ayr on Sunday, October 6, 2002. Born in Grafton, she was in her 74th year. She lost her battle with cancer that had racked her body for 11 months. She is survived by her husband, Ivan Bell, of Ayr; daughter Faith Forde, son-in-law Peter Forde, of Cambridge; son Dale Bell of Chatham, his wife Debbie, grandsons Aaron, Andrew and Jonathan; daughter Donna Bell of Ayr; her father Edward Lawrenson and stepmother Laura; sisters Margaret Summerfeldt, of Keswick; Netta O'Marra of Lakefield; Rhoda Bowman of Barrie; brothers Jack Lawrenson of Florida; Wilfred Lawrenson of Bobcaygeon; David Lawrenson of Uxbridge. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Predeceased by her mother Ruth Lawrenson and a brother Eddie. Dorothy was a member of Calvary Mennonite Church, Ayr. For 30 years she taught piano lessons. Rested at Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held today (Wednesday) at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Church. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
