  THORMAN, Elmer At his residence, 337 Moore St., Cambridge, Saturday, Dec. 2, 1989, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Knack. Dear father of one son, Robert J. and his wife Carol of Cambridge and three daughters, Carol, Janice (Mrs. Craig Dolbeer) and Donna (Mrs. Randy Graham), all of Cambridge. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Kelly, Julie and Scott Thorman, Jessica and Maggie Dolbeer, Ryan and Breanna Graham. Predeceased by three brothers, Harold, Ivan and Karl and two sisters, Dorothy and Emma. Mr. Thorman was born in Waterloo County and lived in Cambridge all his life. Founder of the E. Thorman Construction Limited. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., today (Monday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambridge, Wednesday at 1.30 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
