  Miss Mary L. (Mayme) Clemens, 917 Queensmount Crese., died today at St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness. In partnerships with a sister, she operated the Ethelle Shop for 28 years until their retirement in 1950. Born in Waterloo Township, near Preston, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac B. Clemens. She resided in Kitchener for the past 31 years. She was a member of Trinity United Church. Surviving are two sisters, Nellie and Ethel, both of Kitchener. A brother, Elton, predeceased her in 1953 and a sister, Mrs. Lilliam Clemens in 1954. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. O. P. Hossie and Rev. J. W. Pratt will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record.Kitchener, Ontario, Canada Wednesday, September 24, 1958
