  KING, Charles J. Of 421 Wellington St. South, Preston (Cambridge), at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, June 26, 1973, Charles J. King; beloved husband of the late Marjorie G. MacLean; dear father of Eleanor (Mrs. Douglas C. Jackson) of Rexdale, Charles H. of London and David R. of Peterborough; also survived by 10 grandchildren and two brothers, Harold of Preston and Reginald of Lakeview, Ohio, in his 78th year. Mr. King was born in Guelph and had lived in Preston, over 70 years, he was a retired salesman for Eastern Steel Products and the Preston Metal and Roofing Products. A member of St. John's Anglican Church, past master of the Preston Masonic Lodge, 297, 32nd degree mason; a member of the Mocha Temple Shrine Club of London and past president of the Waterloo Shrine Club, a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, veteran of W.W.I. and former chairman of the Preston Board of Education. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner of Queen and Argyle Streets, Preston (Cambridge), until noon Friday, then to St. John's Anglican Church, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment, Preston cemetery, Kitchener-Waterloo Record 227 Jun 1973 pg 31
