  MRS. DAVID PHILIP PRESTON, Sept. 18— The death occurred at St. Mary's Hospital Kitchener, at noon Saturday, of Elizabeth Parker, relict of David Philip. In her 82nd year, the late Mrs. Philip had been in hospital for the past year. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, the deceased lived there until coming to Preston about 35 years ago. Her husband died in 1935. The late Mrs. Philip attended the Presbyterian Church. Surviving is an adopted son, David Brittain, Blair, and two grandchildren. Funeral service was held at four o'clock this afternoon from the Stager-Pass Ltd. Funeral Home, with interment in the Preston Cemetery. Kitchener Daily Record 18 Sep 1944 pg 13
