      Ervin L. Haas, 72, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wilfred Roedding, Bridgeport. The last surviving member of the Moses Haas family, he was born at Bridgeport in 1877. He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church, Bridgeport. Surviving are his wife, the former Sophia C. Martz, whom he married in Kitchener in 1904; and two daughters, Mrs. Leland (Laoma) Schweitzer of Waterloo, and Mrs. Roedding. One granddaughter also survives. Two brothers, Elam and Milton, predeceased him. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church with interment in Memorial Cemetery, Bridgeport. Rev. N. H. Reibling, pastor of the church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. L. H. Pletch. The body is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 3 p.m. tomorrow when removal will be made to the Bridgeport residence, On Wednesday, at 1 p.m., it will be removed to the church.
