  Arthur S. Pitcher PRESTON— Arthur S. Pitcher, 78, of 133 Waterloo St. North, a Preston resident for 31 years, died here early today. Mr. Pitcher was born at Wilsonville, Ont. and came to Preston after living in Brantford. There he owned and operated Brant Motors for many years. Here he was manager of City garage for a number of years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Preston Masonic Lodge, Lodge Perfect Rose Croix, Guelph; Moore Consistory, Brant Encampment of Odd Fellows, Brantford and was also a life member of Preston Rotary Club. Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude M. Dressell; one son, Donald of Preston; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Eleanor) Ranscombe and Mrs. Borden (Jessie) Proctor, both of Preston; one sister, Mrs. Robert McNiven of Ingersoll. The body is at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home where service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 9 Jul 1962 pg 15
