- WELLSMAN, Eileen (nee Fach)
June 6, 1925 to August 9, 2017. Peacefully and with the pride and contentment that follows a life well lived. A long-time resident of Cambridge. Mom was a mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, friend, mentor, role model and the family rock. Mom was an exceptional woman. Her unbelievable strength and her interest in all things and people are fondly remembered by her children, Kathy Wellsman, Janet (Harvey) Thomson (Markham, Ontario) and Mark (Paula) Wellsman; her loving grandchildren Sherry (Jerry) Thorpe of Owensboro, Kentucky, Bradley (Mandy) Wellsman, Sean Thomson (Markham, Ontario, Billy and Mark Mitchell and their children (Huntsville, Ontario), great-grandchildren, Katie-Sue (Chris), Randy (Aeriel), as well as her great-great-grandson Benjamin all residing in United States. Mom was predeceased by dad, husband William (Bill) (2008) and her loving daughter Mary-Ann (1997). The last surviving member of her family's generation, her four brothers and two sisters, also predeceased her. Mom enjoyed all visits from family, friends and neighbours, especially daily visits from neighbour and best friend Julia Rose. Mom frequently had either a book, was mending something for somebody or had knitting needles in hand. Cooking and baking (and sharing recipes) for family or friends was her passion. Nothing was more important to Mom than her family and we all have countless amazing memories of our wonderful times together. Mom taught and guided us well. Cremation has taken place. We invite all of Eileen's family and friends to join our tea party luncheon to celebrate Eileen's Life on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St Andrews Street, Cambridge, Ontario.
