    • MIEHM, Walter R. - At his home, 37 Eby St. S., on Friday, July 6, 1973, suddenly following a heart attack, Walter Raymond Miehm, age 72 years, born in New Hamburg; a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Miehm, a life- long resident of the Twin City area and a member of St. Mary's RC Church. Mr. Meihm was an upholsterer, formerly employed at the Kitchener Upholstering Company Limited; he was a veteran of the First World War and served overseas with the 259th Batallion. Husband of Anna Heinrichs, who predeceased him in 1961. Father of Peter of Kitchener; brother of Marie (Mrs. Edward Deeton) New Hamburg and Roy in Mich.; grandfather of Tracey and Kevin; he was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener, after 3 p.m. Sunday, where the parish rosary will be recited Monday, at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m., followed by funeral mass at St. Mary's RC Church at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo.
